Layer400 grants permission to download the unmodified signed receiver software without accepting a download checklist. Installation and use are offered under the personal-use software licence, varied below. The software is free for personal use on supported receivers.
Worldwide receiver supply

From release 0.1.0-20, Layer400 permits personal, non-business installation and contribution from supported receivers worldwide, wherever supply and operation are lawful. This replaces the UK installation-territory restrictions in the earlier Receiver Licence, Contributor Terms and acceptance wording. All other terms and mandatory consumer rights remain unchanged. Use the receiver’s actual installation country and comply with applicable local rules.
What has changed
This policy replaces the separate-checkbox, pre-download acceptance and cancellation-waiver requirements in clauses 2 and 18 of the 12 September software licence and its download acceptance wording. Downloading does not record acceptance of those statements, request a cancellation waiver or say that you have read the privacy notice. Layer400 does not rely on the start of download to remove any applicable cancellation right. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
The licence permits downloads from Layer400's official download and installation endpoints. A verified Layer400 account is still required to connect a receiver. By choosing the Connect action for your receiver, you authorise its contribution under the Contributor Terms. See the Privacy Notice for how data is handled; this notice is not an optional-tracking consent.
All other licence conditions, supported hardware, software integrity, account security, third-party rights and recovery protections remain unchanged. The original signed release documents remain included with the unchanged package. This published variation takes precedence where they describe the former download checklist. Existing historical acceptance receipts are not rewritten.
